The second Jessica McClain novel begins where the first left off, Jessica´s mate Rourke is kidnapped, she´s going after him, trying to best a Goddess, the cop Ray is still chasing her and threatening to turn her in, and her father has problems with another Pack in the east.
This book is non stop, fast paced action and suspense and more than once i got the feeling of reading the Odyssey, with Odysseus struggle to return home. Here you see Jessica fighting a strange stonemonster, evil hell sucking bats and more. Not as much smexin, but you´ve got no time to think about that since things happen to fast. No down time in this book.
This one ended in another cliffie, but not as bad as the first one, TG.
Can´t wait for the next one.
